The Executive Leadership Programs focuses on increasing the participating company’s strategic ability to export their products and/or services to the United States. Program content covers approaches to successful marketing, negotiation, networking, and procurement in the U.S. It increases participant understanding of U.S. trade policies and cultural differences that affect Israeli business export objectives. Faculty members include leading U.S. business school scholars, who are experienced in business. They also include some of the most effective U.S. business leaders and practitioners. Training approaches include lectures, live case studies, sessions with U.S. CEOs, interactive discussions, role play, and real-world, export-related projects.
   

 

Participants in Merage Executive Leadership Program

Criteria for Selection

The Merage Foundation selects up to fifteen participants for each Executive Leadership Program. Applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s Israeli Advisory Board, composed of outstanding CEOs. After interviews with the top-ranked candidates, the Israeli Advisory Board submits nominations to the Merage Foundation.

From these nominations, the Merage Foundation selects participants who reflect an outstanding background in business leadership. Both the participant’s company and the participant must demonstrate a clear capacity and commitment to initiate or expand exports of their products and/or services to the U.S. The company’s export-related products and or services must reflect a comparative or competitive advantage in U.S. markets.  

Except for transportation, the Merage Foundation covers all the costs associated with the design and delivery of the program, including those of lodging and food for selected participants.

Applicants must be citizens of Israel and speak English fluently.

The Merage Executive Leadership Program is run
twice annually in the Spring and the Fall.
