EDI currently serves as the regional trade and investment office of seven American states. The region encompasses largely Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus and the Persian Gulf States.

EDI provides states, chambers of commerce and their affiliated companies and organizations with a customized, comprehensive range of services in Israel and the Eastern Mediterranean including:

  • Market research and assessment
  • Identifying potential distributors for specific products and services
  • Sourcing of products
  • Providing information on public tenders
  • Seeking and evaluating local joint venture partners
  • Locating U.S. sites for branch offices of Israeli and Eastern Mediterranean companies
  • Promoting tourism as well as cultural and educational exchanges
  • Structuring special-interest business missions for individuals and groups
